Shehab Mahmoud
Software Engineer
Hi there!
I'm Shehab, a Computer Engineering student, software developer, open source advocate, and tech enthusiast.
When I'm not coding, you'll find me reading on new technologies, gaming, or writing stuff for my blog. I believe in the power of community and love connecting with fellow developers and tech enthusiasts.
My goal is to build anything meaningful that makes a positive impact, big or small.
Why "ashmod"?
I wanted a short, easy-to-write name that just works. The "Ash" part comes from my old nickname, "AshKetchup" which in turn was inspired by "Ash Ketchum" from Pokémon. It can also be interpreted as short for "shehab", in a way. The "mod" part can be seen as "modded", as in modified or improved, and is also short for "Mahmoud", my last name.
If you're curious what "Shehab" means, it's Arabic for "shooting star". So if you see me somewhere you could make a wish! It'll do absolutely nothing at all, but you just can.
